Land Use / Municipal Law Associate Attorney (Hybrid)
Location: New Providence, NJ
Salary: $125,000 - 150,000 Depending on Experience

Responsibilities
- Working alongside Partners on all aspects of litigation cases and meeting with clients
- Drafting briefs and motions
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating redevelopment agreements
- Preparing and analyzing proposals
- Researching and analyzing case law
- Attending union negotiations and school board meetings
- Tracking own billable hours
Requirements
- JD degree from an ABA accredited law school and admitted in New Jersey
- 3+ years practicing New Jersey land use and/or municipal law
- Transactional experience
- Land use/planning board appearance experience
- Experience with local housing law
- Personable and well-rounded with a strong work ethic
- Conscientious and humble with outstanding communication skills
- An ability to take and appreciate constructive feedback
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience through a Judicial Clerkship
- Litigation experience
- Clio and West Law experience
