Position Overview:

We are looking for an attorney with 2+ years of civil litigation experience to handle a variety of cases, including contract disputes, business torts, and general commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of California civil procedure, excellent legal research and writing skills, and the ability to represent clients in all phases of litigation from pre-trial through trial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and discovery documents
• Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations
• Provide clients with strategic legal advice and solutions
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex matters
• Represent clients in court and handle settlement negotiations
• Work to achieve favorable outcomes while maintaining client relationships

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the California State Bar
• 2+ years of civil litigation experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to client representation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with commercial, business, or insurance defense litigation
• Trial experience is a plus
• Familiarity with e-discovery tools and platforms
