Position Overview

As a Hearing Coverage Attorney, you will play a key role in representing the firm at pre-trials, trials, mediations, and other court appearances throughout the Houston area, including Brazoria, Galveston, Harris, and Montgomery counties. You will be expected to manage a high volume of court appearances and will have the opportunity to demonstrate your legal expertise and grow within a well-established, yet forward-thinking firm.

The ideal candidate will be based in Houston, with a preference for residents of Montgomery County or Northern Harris County.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the firm in hearings, pre-trials, trials, mediations, and other court-related matters in designated counties.

• Manage a high-volume caseload and meet tight deadlines while maintaining the quality of work.

• Collaborate effectively with attorneys and staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.

• Communicate directly with opposing counsel and court personnel as needed.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

• Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.

• Court experience preferred, with a demonstrated ability to handle legal proceedings independently.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficient in computer and word processing applications.
