Job Details As a Building Automation Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and implementing building automation systems using Tridium Niagara N4. You will work closely with project teams to ensure that systems are integrated and functioning smoothly to optimize energy management, security, and facility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot building automation systems using Tridium Niagara N4 platform.
- Develop and maintain custom scripts and integrations for HVAC, lighting, security, and other facility management systems.
- Work with engineers and designers to implement system integration for new construction and retrofit projects.
- Conduct on-site system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning to ensure optimal system performance.
- Collaborate with project managers and other technical staff to ensure timely delivery and proper integration of systems.
- Provide ongoing system support and maintenance, responding to service requests and addressing issues as they arise.
- Train clients on system use and provide post-installation support to ensure client satisfaction.
- Continuously stay up to date with advancements in building automation technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in building automation, controls programming, or related fields.
- Strong programming experience in Niagara Framework, including building automation protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks.
- Solid understanding of HVAC, lighting control, and security systems integration.
- Experience with web-based interfaces and system graphics (i.e., HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A degree or certification in a related field (such as electrical engineering, building systems, or computer science) is a plus.
