Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Construction Project Manager to join our growing team immediately. The Construction Project Manager plays a key role in overseeing asphalt and concrete paving, maintenance, and repair projects from start to finish, ensuring smooth and timely execution. The role involves collaborating closely with the operations team and reporting to the Director of Construction. This position is hybrid, with the office located in Richmond, IL as the home base. Occasional travel may be required.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage select national construction projects, including the collection and review of documentation, reports, and photos
- Oversee and approve change order requests
- Review and approve invoice amounts, tracking the percentage completion of projects
- Maintain regular communication with subcontractors to ensure projects run smoothly
- Coordinate with onsite superintendents to ensure proper reporting and documentation are completed
- Liaise with project vendors and clients to ensure effective communication and service
- Navigate customer portals for administrative tasks such as invoicing, purchase orders, and change orders
- Update CRM with accurate and actionable data for ongoing projects
- Assist with bidding events as needed
- Gather and organize close-out documents and create close-out packages when required
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency

Education & Experience:
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with online portals required
- Construction experience preferred
- Familiarity with CRM databases preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a focus on Construction Management being a plus
