Adecco is currently looking for a Managing Geotechnical Engineer (Senior Geotechnical Engineer) to join our client's team on a full-time basis in Salinas, CA (Montery Bay Area)

Here are the details about the role:

Company Overview : Client performs all sectors of engineering offerings, from Civil Engineering infrastructure to geotechnical side conducting soil field testing, surveying and analysis, reports, inspections, back testing. They are in big in 2 micro agricultures, which are hospitality and real estate

Candidates Expectations :

• A minimum of 5 years experience in both lab and field experience, reporting, writing and project writeups and reports.
• Preparation of Soil Engineering Investigations, Retaining Wall Designs, Slope Stability Analyses, and other technical documents.
• Managing a small team in lab (lab techs, field techs).
• Prefer candidates with PE license, or prepared to obtain PE license.
• Management of Geotechnical Staff and Laboratory
• Oversight of Field Inspection Division

Essential Skills and Certifications:

• Active PE licensure in the State of California – Civil or Geotechnical (OR commensurate experience and getting ready to obtain license)
• Familiarity with ASTM, ACI, CALTRANS, and CBC Standards
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Location : Hybrid, 3 days on-site, 2 days remote in Selinas, CA (Monterey Bay). Paid relocation assistance available! Beautiful city about 45 minutes South West of San Jose area.

Salary : 140-160K annually
