JOB SUMMARY:
The Nurse Supervisor works under the guidance of and in collaboration with the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing (DON/ADON). The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for assisting the DON/ADON in planning, implementing, and evaluation nursing practice within the department. Under the guidance of the DON/ADON the supervisor is expected to provide clinical as well as administrative leadership for the unit. This includes creating an environment that provides patient care that is efficient, safe and of a high quality. The Nursing Supervisor is expected to work collaboratively with staff, physicians, and other administrative personnel for all units at Helen Porter Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center (HPHRC).
The hours for this position will be Monday - Thursday 2:45 pm - 11:15 pm.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of three years of nursing experience. Long-Term Care and EPIC experience preferred.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
State of Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required
Demonstrates knowledge and clinical competence in clinical area of responsibility
Demonstrates ability to provide leadership

LPN Pay Rate: $31.39- $47.08
RN Pay Rate: $37.85 - $56.78
