We are looking for a software engineer that enjoys solving challenging geometric problems using multi-threaded algorithms that are time and space efficient. In addition to solving problems through applied software engineering practices, our team assists Design Technology Co-Optimization efforts, layout creation, and assembly. You will experience teamwork in a very collaborative and interactive working environment. The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: + Strong problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication skills and enjoys working as part of a team of experienced engineers. + Enjoy creating innovative algorithms to solve challenging geometric puzzles. + Passion to develop and deliver modular highly maintainable production-quality software. + Demonstration of effective cross-team coordination and technical leadership. Preferred Qualifications: + Effective software engineering skills. + High performance computing including cache-optimized data storage and retrieval. + Experience with C++ software development on Linux systems. + Understanding of algorithmic impact of terabyte-scale datasets, graph theory, and high-performance multi-threading. Qualifications You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications + Must have a Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related technical field with 3+ years of educational or work experience. OR a Master's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related technical field with 2+ years of educational or work with experience. + Experience must be in the following: + Experience with C++ programming skills including templates and virtual functions, + Experience with algorithms and algorithmic complexity, VLSI, layout completion, and fill algorithms.
