Human Resources Generalist / Korean Bi-lingual . This is a direct hire position in the Akron Ohio Area.

Industry: Automotive or Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist with Korean bi-lingual skills to join our team, supporting our dynamic workforce within the automotive / manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will leverage their HR expertise to provide strategic guidance, foster a positive workplace culture, and drive key HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of HR Generalist experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and labor laws relevant to manufacturing/automotive environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage diverse teams and foster a positive work environment.
  • Proven experience in employee relations, talent acquisition, and performance management.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex and sensitive issues with discretion.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of HR Generalist experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Korean bi-lingual language experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and labor laws relevant to manufacturing/automotive environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage diverse teams and foster a positive work environment.
  • Proven experience in employee relations, talent acquisition, and performance management.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex and sensitive issues with discretion.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Korean Hangul reading experience for Korean Software Programs.
  • Knowledge of U.S. labor laws and cultural workplace practices.
  • Nice to have: experience in bilingual Korean communication for HR policy rollouts and team training sessions.
