Supply Chain Operations Specialist - Local AZ Candidates Only
We are hiring a Supply Chain Specialist with 3+ years experience who will be responsible for execution of our supply chain fulfillment strategies, including all aspects of supplier management, day to day buying/purchasing activities, COG’s management. spotting and exploiting market trends to ensure highest possible service levels to our customers while leveraging our enterprise inventory efficiencies. managing the day-to-day of our inbound and outbound fulfillment operations. This will include creating and tracking of purchase orders, transfers, and other movement of inventory in addition to managing the fulfillment out outbound orders to DTC and wholesale customers. This is a department of ONE, so needing a do-er and a strategic focus is important!

Success in this role requires a love for problem solving, analysis, efficiency, process improvements, and collaboration. The ideal candidate will be competent at juggling multiple priorities and thriving in a fast paced, metric-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on managing the inventory flow from supplier to distribution ensuring the correct inventory levels are maintained per policy and strategic direction.
- Create and optimize processes that facilitate and execute sales orders and purchase orders as efficiently as possible
- Place approved inventory and non-inventory POs with vendors and manage vendors to meet on-time deliveries
- Update order information as needed, both pre and post shipment, to accurately reflect shipping quantities, price, location, etc. Include maintaining inbound schedules.
- Work with vendors to ensure maximum flexibility with minimum liability - International vendors
- Cost Optimization: Continuously evaluate and implement cost-saving measures across in collaboration with R&D, Marketing, Suppliers and other Supply Chain functions. Deep understanding of gross margin and Cost of Goods reduction/optimization
- Establish and meet annual targets for cost reduction and inventory reduction
- Coordinate with external and internal warehouse partners to ensure orders (DTC and Wholesale) are shipped on time and in full
- Understand all customer requirements and create standard operating procedures for warehouse partners to follow to ensure we are fully meeting those requirements
- Utilize exception reporting to correct systematic errors in a timely manner and reduce the impact to our customers
- Work with SPS and other third parties to help ensure order transmission
- Work cross-functionally within Dyper to ensure all stakeholder requirements are accounted for and met. Communicate frequently and openly with all stakeholders.
- Assist where needed with other activities
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years of supply chain or operations experience, preferable in eCommerce or Retail
- Experience working with International vendors and partners across time zones
- Collaboration and strong teamwork skills
- Excellent analytical skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS function and similar Excel analytical formulas/tools
- Proficiency with the GSuite, MS Office Suite, NetSuite, fulfillment management applications and ERP/inventory systems
- Experience working with 3PLs, warehouse teams, and retail partners
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
