MUST HAVE:
- 10+ years of PM experience on large commercial/industrial construction projects
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction management, or equivalent
- Knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing etc.
- Need to be comfortable working on challenging projects with tight timelines and aggressive goals
- Ability to work cross functionally and have strong communication
- Strong cost scheduling experience - budgeting, cost control, estimation, etc.
- Risk assessment/change management experience
DAY TO DAY:
We are looking for a proactive Project Controls Manager to oversee cost, schedule, and risk management for large-scale infrastructure projects. This role involves assessing project costs and schedules, identifying potential impacts, and developing mitigation plans. The manager will report regularly to executive management, participate in client workshops to discuss project progress and delays, and collaborate closely with all team members to ensure cohesive project execution. They will lead project controls estimation, schedule, and cost management teams, ensuring alignment with project goals. The role also includes working with the change management team to convert risks into actionable change requests and managing cost drivers, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in cost management, and the ability to secure time on stakeholders’ calendars.
