Required Skills and Experience
- 5-10+ years of AutoCAD experience
- Electrical & Mechanical aptitude - cable management, product diagrams drawings, electrical wiring, etc.
- Creative and detail oriented
- Comfortable in fast paced environments
- Can work onsite M-F from 8:30-5:30
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
- SolidWorks, Revit, or equivalent tool experience
- General arrangement drawings experience
- Marine and shipyard experience
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an AutoCAD Drafter to create technical drawings to help design and build products. Their duties include collaborating with engineers, generating digital drawings and schematics based on design specifications and preparing related technical documents
Job responsibilities:
* Using CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, to prepare technical drawings
* Working with engineers and other professionals to produce drawings that meet their specifications
* Writing related technical documents such as material lists and cost estimates
* Ensuring that all drawings are accurate and meet industry standards
* Maintaining a library of standard drawing templates
* Updating existing drawings as new information becomes available
**Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug screen
*** Must be eligible to work within government settings
**** Onsite fulltime
$24/hr to $28/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
