Role: AutoCAD Drafter

Location: San Ramon, CA (Onsite)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Description:

· Experience in High voltage up to 220KV. (Must).

· Preparation of Single Line Diagram.

· Preparation of Electrical Equipment Plan & Section Layout.

· Preparation of Earthing & Lightning Protection Layout.

· Preparation of Erection Key Diagram.

· Preparation of Power Cable Tray Route Layouts.

· Preparation of Lighting and Power Layout.

· Preparation of General Arrangement Layout.

· Responsible for the preparation of Electrical Execution Drawings for grounding layout.

· Cable Trench Layout, Area Cable Trench & Tray Routing Layout.

· Checking of Electrical drawings prepared by Electrical Draught Person, managing of IDC (Inter Discipline Check-Print), solving the obstructions & interferences with other Discipline to prepare error free design deliverable packages and site visits during Construction, for Survey & As-Built.

· Checking of Electrical drawings prepared by Electrical Designer / Draught Person.

· Well versed in the use of Drafting Procedure, CADD deliverable and Electrical related.

· Standards. Excellent interpersonal skills and work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Must Are:

· Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university

· Professional Engineer (PE) License is plus

· 4+ years of experience engineering/designing electrical systems within the Utilities or Energy industry

· Skilled in AutoCAD (MicroStation is a plus)

· Experience with ETAP, WinIGS, IEEE 88/998

· Experience using Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Bentley MicroStation and/or Bentley Substation software to develop 2D drawings or 3D models are a plus.
