SALARY RANGE - 200k-300k

A thermal utilities company is hiring for a General Manager for the Utah City District Energy Utility (UCDEU) and is responsible for leading all aspects of UCDEU operations, finance, capital planning, maintenance, training, safety, performance, technical and environmental compliance. This role ensures UCDEU achieves operational excellence, aligns with the company’s strategic objectives and maintains compliance with regulatory requirements. The General Manager will optimize infrastructure performance, foster strong stakeholder relationships, and drive continuous improvement across all functions.

MUST HAVES -

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering degree.

• PE required and or eligible to join DOPL or similar professional organization

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a Utility Engineering role, or related experience.

• Demonstratable experience with large capital projects and or large construction

• Demonstrable Fiscal Management experience
