Packaging Engineer

Location: Huntsville, AL

A client is seeking a Packaging Engineer in Huntsville, AL. This person will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing packaging solutions. This role will ensure that packaging meets functional, cost, and environmental sustainability requirements.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in CAD software and packaging-specific tools (e.g., ArtiosCAD, SolidWorks) for packaging design and development
• Knowledge of regulatory and environmental standards for packaging
• Material selection for packaging
• Ability to gain a Secret clearance within 180 days

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with sustainability certifications or lifecycle assessments (e.g., ISO 14040/44).
• Familiarity with automation and machinery used in packaging processes.
