Role: Data Architect

Location: Memphis, TN (Hybrid)

Job type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Strategy:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Identify data sources, assess data quality, and define data standards.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements.

Data Modeling:

  • Design and develop logical and physical data models, including ER diagrams and data flows.
  • Create data dictionaries and metadata repositories to document data definitions and relationships.
  • Ensure data models are optimized for performance and scalability.

Data Architecture:

  • Design and implement data architectures, including data warehouses, data marts, and data lakes.
  • Define data integration and ETL processes to efficiently extract, transform, and load data.
  • Develop data governance policies and procedures to maintain data quality and security.

Data Governance:

  • Establish data governance frameworks and standards.
  • Oversee data quality management and data lineage tracking.
  • Collaborate with data stewards to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Cloud Data Solutions:

  • Design and implement cloud-based data solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Leverage cloud technologies to optimize data storage, processing, and analytics.

Data Security and Privacy:

  • Implement robust data security measures to protect sensitive data.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

Required Skill Sets

  1. Azure / Fabric expertise (preferrable Certifications)
  2. Proven track record of Data Modernization and Digital Transformation experience – Would like to see in 2 or 3 engagements highlighted in the profile
  3. Strong Data Engineering, Data Management and Data Governance Experience
  4. Data Modeling experience – Logical and Physical
  5. Strong BI/Analytics experience
  6. Experience in implementing complex Data Transformations and Data Quality frameworks as part of the Data Engineering
  7. Hands-on SQL, Azure/Fabric Data Factory, PySpark and Power BI.
