Aspire Medical Staffing is looking for an Orthopedic Physician Assistant to provide services at Langley AFB .

Location:

633rd MDG, Langley AFB, Hampton VA

Department: Orthopedic Surgery

Hours:

Monday through Friday 0815- 1715 .

One rotational weekend a month.
Compensation:

• W2 Rate: $72.00/hour
• CME Reimbursement: $2,000 per year
• PTO: 80 hours total annually (accrue hours per pay period)
• Sick Leave: 56 hours total annually (accrue hours per pay period)
• Federal Holidays Paid

1099 Rate: $92.00/hour- paid only for hours worked

Qualifications:

• Degree/Education: Graduate from an accredited college or university certified by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education of the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Board Certification : Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician s Assistants (NCCPA).
• Licensure/Registration: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant.

Duties:

• PAs in orthopedics perform histories and examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications and therapy . In addition to first assisting at surgery, procedures provided by PAs include tendon repairs, wound closures and debridements, injection of joints and fracture management.
