TheWomen’sand Children’sClinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) will be responsible for developingNICUspecific policies and competencies. The CNC will be responsible for implementation of standards of care,assist the unit educators instaff orientation and annual competenciesfor the Women’s and Children’s Service Line. The CNC will work with the Department Director, theNICU/Pediatric Supervisorand the Medical Director in establishing appropriate standards of care.The CNC will assist withNeonatal&Pediatric QI/PI activities and will serve as a liaison to appropriate inpatient nursing, referral hospitals, hospital affiliated with RMHC, and other medical resources needed to integrate services for the continuum of care of theneonatal patient.
