Certification Details BLS ACLS PALS Job Details A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Ambulatory/GI nurse for a travel contract. The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience. Job Requirements Hold an active CA License. 2 full years of experience required. Schedule Information Shifts: 8 hr shifts - 5:30am-2pm, 9-5:30pm, 10:30am-6pm, 11a-7p (must be flexible with shifts). Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, could be more or less. Holidays: 24 hour call requirement. Call requirement: variable based on needs of unit. Unit Specific Information Required Duties: perform moderate sedation during the GI cases. Must Have Skills: 1 year experience with Moderate sedation is primary. ERCP experience is preferred but not mandated. Additional Details ACLS, BLS, PALS; 2/12 or 2/26 Start Date ONLY. Unit: Amb/GI lab - this unit is a hybrid ambulatory care center. beds: 5. Phase 1 and Phase 2: GI nurses pre/post the moderate sedation patients. Common types of cases to recover: GI - upper and lower GI Peg tubes.
