Imerys, global leader providing mineral-based specialty solutions for industry, is hiring an Inside Sales Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our customer base, sales resources, products and channels for the Paints, Coatings and Polymer markets to achieve planned results.

• Join and collaborate with your colleagues, cross-functionally, to support the sales process
Sales Responsibilities:
- Generates revenue by assisting Sales Director and Sales Managers, understanding and interpreting customer requirements, and providing inside sales support to key accounts.
- Manage a portfolio of inside sales accounts to learn and grow the business, while capturing an opportunity to generate new business.
- Support the marketing department on planning and execution of marketing activities across sales and distribution chain to target different clusters of customers
- Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities.
- Drive price notice process and support administrative function for sales with key accounts.
- Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
- Works closely with S&OP, Product Management, Marketing, and Customer Service to understand capacities, supply capability, and pricing guidance.
- Monthly Sales Reporting on Back-log, opportunity report, and monthly tracking of growth programs
- Provide forecast guidance for accounts on a monthly basis.
- Ensure competitiveness by evaluating pricing and communicating increases with sales managers as needed.
- Manage Imerys internal portals, including Salesforce (samples, opportunities, and complaints), pricing, and document management.
- Supports Sales Managers and Sales Director on pricing & product inquiries
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience working with customers and/or technology
- Basic knowledge of the full range of company products, and how these products align to customer needs
- Proficient in Excel, Salesforce, and Google Suite

- Bachelor's degree, ideally in a technical field
