Job Description

Seeking a talented and dynamic Senior Account Executive to grow our wholesale business across all tiers of distribution. Ideal candidate is one to nurture our existing customer base; develop new key customer relationships in effort to build profitable efficient programs that will drive volume and deliver healthy margins for the Company and our retail partner.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Maintain existing and develop strong strategic customer relationships in building successful long term businesses.
  • Maintain current and keen understanding of competitive retail landscape by category and strategic retail price points across all channels of distribution.
  • Prepare for customer meetings with clear agenda; including proposed category assortments by delivery, suggested target retail price points, and understanding of current style selling performance.
  • Monitor weekly selling performance to maximize in season reorder opportunities.
  • Take ownership and have clear understanding of on hand inventory and incoming w.i.p.
  • Maintain current up to date customer sales order book; ensure all sales orders are entered into the system accurately; and timely communicate delivery slides to customers.
  • Liaise with design, sourcing, customer service as necessary to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Ensure showroom is prepared in advance of customer meetings and key market weeks.
  • Collaborate with design and merchandising in providing critical retail feedback regarding current retail performance and sales trends
  • Lead seasonal best/worst seller meetings.
  • Travel to accounts as necessary.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-7 years experience selling in Women's Sportswear market.
  • Strong track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to react quickly with a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Maintain positive and upbeat demeanor
  • Proficient in excel and retail math
