About the Role

As a Sales and Marketing Intern you will be responsible for the generation and quality of content to our growing community of startup leaders. In this position, you will work directly with the Founder & CEO on the following:

• Research industry-related topics, trending influencers, and news to identify gaps in our content and client base
• Build targeted lead generation lists of target personas to conduct prospecting through cold outreach
• Assist in the design, development and execution of all social media content across Instagram & LinkedIn
• Assist in launching and maintaining our weekly newsletter across design, copywriting and scheduling while planning ahead to ensure topics align to our content release calendar
• Attend and capture behind the scenes content of events, photoshoots, podcasts and more
• Attend weekly brainstorming and progress meetings to ensure objectives are met

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Exceptional eye for design and impeccable attention to detail
• Ability to think creatively to generate unique and original ideas aligned to our brand
• Experience designing/editing video and audio content
• Ability to meet strict deadline and manage content creation process effectively
• Ability to work independently and as an active member of a team
• Experience with Google Suite, Instantly, Notion, Later, Canva, and Klaviyo a plus

Position Title: Sales and Marketing Intern

Internship Term: Summer 2025 (April/May through August 2025, exact dates TBD)

Compensation: This is an unpaid internship with the opportunity to grow your portfolio and earn college credit

Desired Fields of Study: Business, Marketing, Media, Communications, or related

Hours Desired: 15-20/week

Location : This is a hybrid position based in San Diego, CA. You will be expected to be onsite 1-2 days per week.

The internship program is offered to students who are pursuing studies in: Marketing, Business Leadership or related fields. This position is an unpaid internship plus monthly stipend and the opportunity to earn school credit at a US accredited college.
