Position Summary:

The OEM Sales Representative will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and developing new OEM business opportunities while expanding relationships with existing clients. This role requires a strategic sales professional with a strong background in custom-engineered electronic components and a proven track record in business development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and revenue objectives.
  • Analyze market needs and collaborate with the engineering team to enhance product offerings.
  • Manage all phases of the sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Develop and maintain account and territory plans to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Acquire new OEM clients and increase sales volume with existing customers.
  • Provide regular reports on account status, projects, and key initiatives to sales management.
  • Offer insights on product design and development based on customer feedback.
  • Ensure timely completion of administrative responsibilities, including forecasting and expense reporting.
  • Stay up to date with company products and actively participate in training programs to enhance knowledge and skills.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a focus on technology sales .
  • Experience with custom-engineered/engineered-to-build products .
  • Industry knowledge of battery technology, DC-DC converters, power supplies, and backup power systems .
  • Knowledge of UL standards is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of custom-engineered electronic components .
  • Proven track record in OEM product sales , including established industry contacts.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organization, from operations to C-suite executives.
  • Must be able to travel as required .
