Seeking an Account Manager - Physician Relations for one of the fastest growing clinical research site networks in the US. This role will cover the following areas: Greater Chicago, up to Gurney, IL, with occasional travel too and from Detroit, MI. Your main hub will be in Andersonville / Ravenswood area, and you will be expected to be on site there unless you are traveling around your territory.
Pharmaceutical / Medical Device / Diagnostic / healthcare sales reps looking for less overnight travel encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and physician practices, hospitals, and other healthcare providers to build and maintain positive relationships
- Prospect within an assigned geographic area to generate new physician partnership opportunities
- Develop and implement strategic plans in the assigned territory to expand physician networks, increase patient referrals, and maximize revenue opportunities
- Manage referrals ensuring appropriate prioritization, routing, and strategy to achieve revenue goals, enrollment goals, enrollment timelines, and database growth
- Develop and implement account penetration strategies to create new opportunities for deeper collaboration and growth
- Create and run strategic physician outreach plans for assigned studies
- Significantly grow the client relationship in terms of study enrollment goals, revenue generated and account profitability
- Coordinate and lead meetings with physicians and other healthcare providers to address concerns and ensure satisfaction
- Maintain a strong understanding of the industry and client needs; cultivate a core book of business for consistent and repeated referrals - aimed at long term growth and partnership
- Track, analyze and update internal tracking and reporting systems throughout the day to maintain accuracy in volume metrics, referrals, enrollments goals and clinical trials trends
Requirements :
- 1-3 years or more of experience with healthcare sales and account management within a hospital, clinical trial, or healthcare setting.
- Prior experience selling to Physicians, either a product or service.
- Ability to create and nurture strong relations with physicians
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software
- Reliable vehicle
- Bachelor's degree required
- Willingness to travel within designated territory.
