We are seeking a Full Stack Web Developer at Nomad Go to deliver end-to-end web applications and APIs for internal and external customers. If you thrive on rolling up your sleeves and delivering results, we’d love to hear from you. 

Key Responsibilities  

To be successful in this role, you will need to: 

• Be a team player who can deliver robust, tested, working solutions that involve every part of the stack. 
• Stay on track and consistently complete user and technical stories in a sprint-based workflow. 
• Be a strong communicator who can clearly articulate technical issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
• Be a practical problem-solver who can simplify complex issues into maintainable solutions. 
• Be an architectural thinker who can design flexible, future-proof solutions. 

Requirements  

• Educational Background: B.S. or equivalent experience in Computer Science. 
• Experience:  
• 5+ years of experience with full-stack web development. 
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript. 
• Expert knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL and/or MySQL). 
• Strong system design skills. 
• Strong understanding of security best practices and potential attack vectors. 
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful web APIs with Node/Express or a similar technology. 
• Experience with modern React JS. 
• Experience with one or more React JS frameworks. 
• Experience with one or more React JS state management systems. 
• Experience with one or more testing frameworks. 
• Experience with the AWS family of technologies, including CloudFormation. 
• Experience with Docker and Docker Compose. 

Location: Must be able to work on-site at our office in Redmond, WA. We believe creative work and great ideas come from face-to-face interactions. Business travel is not anticipated.  

Salary Range and Benefits  

• $130,000 - $170,000 depending on experience

Pay Transparency Notice: The annual base salary for this position based in the United States is detailed above. The salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on Nomad Go’s compensation practices, job related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and trainings, in addition to geographic location. Based on the factors above, Nomad Go utilizes the full width of the range. In addition to the salary range, U.S employees are eligible for a stock option grant and to participate in the company’s standard benefit programs, which currently include medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) participation, paid time off and certain leaves of absence.
