The Overnight Line Cook will deliver exceptional dishes for room service and guests using the drawing room during the twilight hours. You will lead a small team and prepare for the next day’s events and breakfast shift throughout your overnight shift.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Run the operation of the kitchen throughout the night
- Have a strong command of the menu and the ingredients required
- Deliver exquisite dishes that maintain Firmdale standards and exceed guest expectations
- Guide and oversee the kitchen team
- Deliver orders efficiently and within appropriate timeframes
- Maintain strict health, safety, and food hygiene standards
- Ensure mise en place and stock control of the kitchen
- Prepare a detailed handover for the senior chef on duty the following day
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Line Cook within a 5-star hotel or luxury restaurant
- Knowledge of a variety of local and international food ingredients, proper preparation methods, and food allergy specifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong team working abilities
- Superb attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional standards
