About the Company - We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Maintenance Manager in Corona CA (permanent position) to lead the maintenance team and ensure the efficient operation of machinery and automated processes.
About the Role - You will be responsible for overseeing a team of 3-4 maintenance technicians, managing day-to-day operations, and providing technical leadership to ensure all systems are running optimally. Additionally, this role will require hands-on involvement in creating custom parts, automating machines, and assisting with securing necessary permits (e.g., fire, OSHA).
Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, and lead a team of 3-4 maintenance personnel to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems to ensure the continuous operation of machinery and automated processes.
- Design, create, and modify custom parts to support machine repairs or improvements.
- Develop and implement automation solutions for machines to improve operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Oversee the repair and optimization of electrical systems and automated equipment to improve production efficiency.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to diagnose and fix complex systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify areas for improvement in operational processes and implement solutions.
- Assist in acquiring and maintaining necessary permits (e.g., fire, OSHA) to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, parts inventory, and system performance data.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements related to electrical systems and plant operations.
- Recommend improvements to machinery, systems, and processes to enhance productivity, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in a maintenance management role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Experience with automated systems and control processes.
- Proven ability to interpret and work with blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose complex electrical and mechanical issues.
- Experience in designing, creating, or modifying machine parts for repairs or enhancements.
- Ability to automate machines and processes to increase efficiency.
- Knowledge with acquiring and managing industrial permits, including fire and OSHA-related permits.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance related to electrical and mechanical systems.

- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
