Job Title: Electrical Engineering Manager / Engineering Team Lead

Location - Kansas City, Missouri, United States (Onsite)

Salary: $180K - $190K + Benefits

Team Size: You will manage 4 Electrical Engineers and 3 Electrical Designers (and a couple part time/ contract engineers for a total of 9)

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our engineering client. This role offers a unique opportunity to design and implement power generation systems for projects that span across the globe. You’ll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to cutting-edge solutions, and play a pivotal role in our client’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing electrical systems, analyzing electrical data, ensuring power distribution systems are efficient and reliable, and overseeing power systems
• Developing technical specifications, one lines, schematics, cable schedules, and system layouts for projects
• Conducting feasibility studies, energy efficiency evaluations, and power system simulations
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical and structural designs
• Staying updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure compliance and innovation
• Providing technical support during project execution and participating in troubleshooting as needed
• Preparing detailed reports and documentation for clients and key stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in power generation or renewable energy
• Proficiency with tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar design and simulation software
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• PE preferred
