We are seeking a relationship-driven Financial Planning Associate to join the Advanced Planning Team. This role involves managing and analyzing client data, preparing financial plans, supporting the Lead Advisor, and contributing to practice management initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at meeting deadlines, and demonstrates outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills.
Position Overview
The Financial Planning Associate will collaborate closely with the Lead Advisor and Client Service Team to address diverse planning and service needs for the firm’s clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate expertise in retirement planning, tax issues, risk management, and estate planning.
- Assist in pre- and post-meeting activities, including preparing agendas, paperwork, meeting notes, and financial analyses.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication.
- Ensure compliance with securities industry regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Support client onboarding and ongoing service needs.
- Collaborate with internal team members, clients, and external vendors to gather necessary information.
- Manage ad-hoc projects as delegated.
- Coordinate the implementation of planning recommendations with external professionals.
Qualifications:
- CFP® designation preferred or progress toward completion.
- 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
- Familiarity with Practifi, Tamarac, Outlook, and Excel is highly desirable.
- Exceptional attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills, and follow-through.
- Passion for delivering outstanding client service.
- Strong teamwork mentality and ability to multitask effectively.
