The Risk Governance and Executive Insights role oversees and executes PepsiCo Information Security communications. The candidate will support PepsiCo's security agenda by communicating key strategic messages to a variety of global audiences ranging from operational leaders to PepsiCo's Board of Directors. The primary objective of this role is to support the CISO, Information Security GRC Senior Director and direct reports in developing key deliverables including, but not limited to cybersecurity white papers, executive presentations, and executive memos.
Responsibilities
The roles accountabilities include:
Create and drive the Information Security communications strategy translating key initiatives, programs and progress into messages for a variety of global audiences ranging from operational leaders to PepsiCo's Board of Directors
Lead the development of executive-level memos, presentations and other artifacts in support of the CISO and Information Security Leadership by working with subject matter experts and doing applicable research
Partner with internal stakeholders to create impactful communications utilizing data-driven insights
Perform analysis, identify, and effectively communicate information security risks to leadership through key deliverables such as Information Security white papers, presentations and external executive-level communications
Write compelling and effective communications for both internal and external audiences
Execute the full research lifecycle from data collection and normalization, to insight analysis, writing/documenting insights, editing, and document delivery
Support Information Security CISO with ad-hoc communications and projects
Establish and document communications processes and best practices
Compensation and Benefits:•The expected compensation range for this position is between $106,400 - $178,100.•Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Qualifications
Mandatory Technical Skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
7-10 years of experience working in internal communications supporting business executives
Ability to independently prepare and execute executive-level communication
Working knowledge of information security industry frameworks (e.g., ISO, NIST, COBIT)
Experience with project management, including experience building and executing new programs and managing them to scale
Security Certifications preferred : CRISC, CISM etc.
Understanding of Cybersecutity Strategies.
Ability to communicate complex security concepts in the form of concise visualizations and written descriptions of the methodology and results
Experience working on large events and projects that require cross-functional collaboration
Effective team player with the ability to meet project deadlines with exceptional attention to detail, and lead efforts across disciplines
Experience as an industry analyst or in a research role involving data analysis and/or report writing a plus
Mandatory Non-Technical Skills
Ability to think strategically and is a proactive and detailed planner with excellent organizational skills to execute every detail successfully
Strong change management background with the ability to identify current and future state then build and execute the change strategy and communication plan
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment
Confident storyteller with an ability to uncover and create stories, distill key messages, and present them in a compelling way for use internally and externally
Demonstrates the ability to work independently and be able to connect dots and effectively collaborate in a cross functional environment, often without specific guidance on the "how"
Ability to be a self-starting analytical and creative thinker capable of independent work as well as the ability to partner with a team on collaborative tasks and be flexible
