Position Overview :
The Director of Sales is responsible for leading the company's sales strategy, developing and implementing plans and objectives to achieve revenue growth and market expansion. This role includes managing and collaborating with Sales Account Managers and other Managers, overseeing key accounts, and ensuring alignment with the organization's overall business goals.
Key Responsibilities :
Leadership and Team Management:
- Supervise and mentor Sales Account Managers and other Managers, providing guidance, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture focused on achieving team and individual goals.
- Set clear expectations and ensure accountability for sales objectives and deliverables
Account Management:
- Personally manage a select portfolio of high-value accounts with assistance from Managers, building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, addressing issues promptly, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement the company’s overall sales strategies, aligning them with broader business objectives.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with leadership to set short- and long-term sales goals.
Operational Oversight:
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance, using metrics and analytics to track progress and make data-driven decisions.
- Design and execute sales processes, tools, and training to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Partner with marketing, product, and operations teams to align initiatives and improve customer acquisition and retention.
Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights for executive leadership.
- Communicate sales goals, strategies, and updates clearly to the sales team and other stakeholders.
Qualifications :
- Proven track record in sales leadership, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, but not required
- Experience working with religious communities strongly preferred
- Exceptional skills in management, strategic planning, and relationship building.
- Strong understanding of sales metrics and analytics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
