ProCare Therapy is seeking a motivated and certified School Psychologist to join our team in North Waltham , MA. This full-time position allows you to make a positive impact by supporting students with their behavior intervention plans in a collaborative school setting.
Position:School Psychologist
Location:North Waltham , MA
Hours:Full-Time
Certification:Active School Psychologist license for the state

Key Responsibilities:

Assessment: Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' learning and emotional needs.
Intervention: Develop and implement interventions and strategies to support students' academic and emotional development.
Counseling: Provide individual and group counseling to address mental health and behavioral issues.
Consultation: Work with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive educational environments and address student needs.

Requirements:

Education: Masters or doctoral degree in school psychology or a related field.
Certification/Licensure: State certification or licensure as a school psychologist, which may include passing a national exam.
Experience: Completion of supervised internship or practicum in a school setting.
Skills: Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and collaboration, as well as a deep understanding of child development and educational practices.
