We are a 35 doctor AAHA accredited practice located in North Ridgeville, 25 minutes west of Cleveland. We are seeking full-time Veterinary Assistants, with *1-year veterinary clinic experience*, highly preferred. We have a state of the art 36,000 square foot facility. Our practice offers digital radiography and ultra-sonography, CT, full in-house lab, endoscopy, laparoscopy, reproduction, dentistry, orthopedics, behavior, underwater treadmill rehabilitation, therapeutic laser, and more. You will be supporting the doctors and technicians in duties while helping maintain outstanding patient care.

The candidate must have experience:

- Previous animal care, animal handling experience

- Properly restraining small and large animals

- Recording and reporting animal activities and behavior

- Maintain and clean all ward areas

- Providing daily care to the animals, such as feeding, walking, providing water and clean bedding

- Clean and disinfect animal cages, exam rooms, and treatment areas

- Maintaining surgical equipment

- Assisting doctors and veterinary technician in surgery

- Administer medications to patients

- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing

- Highly motivated to work independently and as part of a team.

- Work on your feet moving threw out your shift

- Must be able to handle emergency situations quickly and calmly and able to share our commitment to delivery of exceptional customer service to our clients as well as the highest quality of care to our patients.
