*Job Title:* Director of Nursing for Operating Room

*Location*: Middletown, NY

*Position Type:* Contract, 13 weeks

*Shift:* 10-Hour Shifts (40 hours per week guaranteed)

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Provide strategic leadership for the Operating Room and Surgical Services team.
* Oversee daily operations, staff management, and resource allocation.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
* Maintain 24/7 accountability for the unit, including weekends and holidays.

*Qualifications:*
* *Education:*
* *Required:* Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
* *Preferred:* Master’s Degree in Nursing or Nursing Administration (or commitment to attain).
* Active RN license in the State of New York.
* *Experience:*
* Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, including 2 years in a specialized area.
* At least 1 year of nursing leadership experience preferred.
* Operating Room (OR) experience as an RN is mandatory.
* *Certifications:*
* *Required:* ACLS, BLS, PALS.

*Charting System:*
* Epic Systems Corporation - Epic Care Inpatient EMR

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $3,000.00 - $3,400.00 per week

Schedule:
* 10 hour shift
* 4x10
* Day shift
* Every weekend



Experience:
* OR: 3 years (Required)
* DON: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:
* BLS Certification (Required)
* ACLS Certification (Required)
* PALS Certification (Required)

Ability to Relocate:
* Middletown, NY: Relocate before starting work (Required)
