Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Position Overview:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Grace Village, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our residents. You will work alongside fellow caregivers to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the residents assessment and care plan. Your dedication and attention to detail will contribute to the overall health and happiness of our residents.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities:
Participate in nursing reports and take detailed notes
Help residents with personal hygiene activities, turning, lifting, and positioning them when needed
Assist residents with daily dental and mouth care (i.e., brushing teeth/dentures, oral hygiene, special mouth care, etc.), with bath functions (i.e., bed, bathtub or shower bath, etc.) and with hair care functions (i.e., combing, brushing, shampooing, etc.)
Change bed linens-Keep linens tight to avoid wrinkles from forming under the resident
Assist resident with bowel and bladder functions (i.e., take to bathroom, offer bedpan/urinal, portable commode, etc.)
Assist residents in preparing for activity and social programs
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Qualifications:
Valid CNA certification in the state of Indiana
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and patient demeanor
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
A desire to build meaningful relationships with residents through day-to-day interactions

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Benefits:
Base pay from $17-$22 per hour.
Pay based on experience at $0.25/hour per year up to a maximum of $5.00/hour.
Shift Diff of $1.50/hour and Weekend Diff of $1.00 on Saturdays and Sundays.
Refer a friend and receive a bonus up to $300 when they stay 90 days, conditions apply. Refer a nurse and receive a bonus up to $600 when they stay 90 days, conditions apply.
