Sentara Norfolk General Hospital's Postpartum Mother-Baby Unit is seeking a full time Registered Nurse that has compassion and patience for provide special care to our new Moms and Infants.

The Sentara Norfolk General Mother-Baby Unit is a 30-bed unit. Our Nurses assess, ensure that proper healing is occurring, and provides self-care education to our new Moms during the post-partum stay. The unit encourage the new Mom to have rooming with their new baby. The Mom-Baby Nurse sees that the newborn is assessed, cleaned, feed, swaddled, and educates the new Mom on proper infant care.
Shift: Night Shift, 36 hours a week. RN will work every 3rd weekend.
