Are you ready to make a significant impact on our journey to expand in the US market? Reporting to the SVP of Managed Markets , the Business Development Manager will be at the forefront of Serko's growth strategy, fueling customer acquisition and driving revenue. We're seeking a dynamic professional with a strategic approach to sales, a passion for innovation, and the expertise to expand Serko's footprint across the US market.
What you'll get to do
Seize New Opportunities: Proactively identify, target, and win new business, leveraging a strategic and relentless approach to client acquisition.
Build Strong Relationships: Act as a trusted advisor, delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs while fostering long-term partnerships.
Lead the Sales Cycle: Own the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and presenting to negotiating and closing deals.
Drive Market Strategy: Analyze trends, competition, and customer needs to position Serko as a market leader.
Achieve Results: Consistently exceed KPIs, revenue goals, and sales targets, ensuring measurable impact on business growth.
What you'll bring
- Proven success in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within SaaS or tech with significant experience in your current or previous roles.
- Experience engaging and developing trusting relations with C-level executives and navigating enterprise sales cycles.
- Strong understanding of SaaS products, cloud solutions, and technology ecosystems.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Analytical problem-solver with a collaborative, goal-oriented mindset.
- Experience in the business travel industry and familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
