Anchored in Chicago’s Avondale/Logan Square community, the Puerto Rican Arts Alliance (PRAA) is a vibrant community resource focusing on educating low-income CPS students and promoting Puerto Rican and Latin art, music, and culture. PRAA’s Latin Music Project in Avondale offers music lessons, performances by visiting musicians, and regular concerts for students from preschool to high school. PRAA produces several concerts and cultural events including the Emmy award winning National Cuatro Festival.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Finance and Operations located in Chicago, IL. The Director will oversee financial planning, financial statements, payroll, facilities and financial reporting on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

• Financial Planning and Financial Reporting skills
• Analytical Skills and Finance expertise
• Familiarity with FundEZ accounting tool or similar
• Experience in preparing financial statements
• Strong understanding of financial operations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience in non-profit organizations is a plus
