Overview:
VTG is seeking an Engineer Analyst, located in Virginia Beach, VA.
Responsibilities:
Summary Provides engineering support and research with a focus on Form, Fit, Function trade studies for DMSMS.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to assess the impact of DMSMS on TI-16 Systems and projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional reams including engineering, procurement, and supply chain, to develop and implement strategies for managing product risk.
- Conduct trade study for various replacement parts and systems.
- Designs test control apparatus and equipment, determines procedures for testing products and directs engineering personnel in fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment.
- Develops various reports based on research findings
- Evaluates operational systems and recommends design modifications to eliminate causes of malfunctions or changes in system requirements.
- Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelors Degree in an Engineering Field.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Ability to obtain a Security clearance, valid driver's license
