Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster.+ **Career Growth:** Great opportunity to obtain healthcare experience for those that are looking to further theireducation in healthcare or be involved in an ever-changing career with upward mobility.**Job Summary**+ The Medical Laboratory Scientist performs a variety of clinical laboratory tests, procedures and related duties.+ Utilizes scientific principles as well as technical, procedural, and problem-solving aptitudes for day-to-day laboratory technical operations, quality control, quality assurance, procedure/instrument maintenance and corrective action, test result correlation, and clinical laboratory related continuing education.**Education and/or Experience**+ Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science and completion of NAACLS accredited Medical Laboratory Scientist program; or a Bachelor’s degree in a related science and one to two years of experience/training acceptable to the ASCP or AMT for the Medical Laboratory Scientist required.**Licensure/Certification/Registration**+ Certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist from the ASCP, AMT, or equivalent required within 12 months of hire.**Work Schedule**+ Varied Shift Schedule: 8 am - 6pm, 7:30 am - 4pm, Noon to 8pm or 2:30 pm to 11pm; May fill in on overnight shift from 7pm to 7am as needed+ Rotate every 3rd Weekend/Holiday+ Full Time; 72 hours every 2 weeks**Pay**The hourly range for this position is listed below.
