Job Description (Traveling Construction Superintendent)

• Oversee all phases of commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate on-site activities and manage subcontractors and laborers effectively.
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure that all work complies with OSHA standards and project safety plans.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and site inspections.
• Monitor work progress and quality, resolving any issues that may arise.
• Conduct inspections at various stages of construction to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and subcontractors.
• Facilitate regular meetings and provide updates on project progress.
• Maintain accurate project logs, including daily reports, change orders, and inspections.

The Successful Applicant
The Successful Traveling Construction Superintendent

• 5+ years of Commercial Construction Experience
• 5+ years as a Superintendent
• Strong tenure with employers
• Blueprint Experience
• Must be safety oriented: OSHA 30
• Strong ability to read drawings and specifications
• Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exhibits strong leadership qualities
• Strong decision making/problem solving skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
