Title: Business Development Manager Position Description: Full-Time Benefit Eligible Schedule: Day Shift Pay: $60,000 annually Bonus Potential: $7500 quarterly Overview: The Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of Senior Helpers. This position is responsible for identifying, developing, and nurturing business opportunities within the home care industry, forging partnerships, and expanding the agency's client base.
Key Responsibilities: - Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive dynamics, and potential growth opportunities in the home care industry.
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify and acquire new clients, including individuals in need of home care services, healthcare professionals, hospitals, and other referral sources.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, social workers, case managers, and other relevant professionals to generate referrals and partnerships.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations to potential clients, families, and partners that highlight the agency's services, benefits, and commitment to quality care.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and community events to expand the agency's presence and establish valuable connections.
- Collaborate with legal and management teams to negotiate and finalize contracts with clients and partners, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
- Track and analyze sales and business development metrics, prepare regular reports, and use data-driven insights to refine strategies and achieve sales targets.
- Ensure all business development activities adhere to regulatory and legal requirements in the home care industry.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience
- Proven track record of successful business development and sales in the healthcare or home care industry.
- Preferred strong knowledge of home care regulations, Medicare/Medicaid, and healthcare reimbursement processes.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
