Our client in Ector County, TX is in need of a NP/PA (Emergency Medicine) for a locum assignment!

Job details:

• Start: ASAP
• Date s of Coverage: 8/1, 8/4, 8/11, 8/12, 8/19-8/21
• Reason for Coverage: Start-up
• Practice Setting: ER
• Number of ED Physicians in Group: Single physician coverage 6-6 12-hour max shift length for MDs
• Fast Track in ED
• Percent (%) of Total ED Volume Treated by Fast Track: 2-3 BEDS
• Average Number of Patients Per Day: 30-34 in a 12-hour split between MD/APP on shift
• Documentation System/EMR: Meditech
• Trauma Level/Designation: 3
• ED Staff Responds to House Codes
• Deliveries Received in ED and Sent Directly to Labor & Delivery
• ED Responsible for Monitoring/Supervising Paramedics/Ambulance by Radio
• APP will be supervised by a present Physician during assignment
• 24-Hour Availability for Radiology (CT, MRI, X-Ray), Laboratory, & Anesthesia
• Blood Bank - Certified by AABB
• Surgical Services: CT, Neuro, Vascular, Ortho
• Description of Consultants: Radiologist, Pulmonologist, Neurologist

Job Requirements:

• 1000 hours of ER experience within the last 2 years - REQUIRED, no exception s
• DEA - Verbal Confirmation Required at Name Clear
• TX State License - Required
• Board Certified - REQUIRED
