Position: Clinical Pathologist - Location: Plattsburgh, NY - Albany 160m; Montpelier, VT 70m - Full-time, permanent position Job Summary: The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Health Network is seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Pathologist to join its Community Practice Pathology Division. The successful candidate will provide state-of-the-art anatomic and clinical pathology services in Plattsburgh, NY, with potential diagnostic pathology in Burlington, VT. Key Responsibilities: - Provide high-quality diagnostic anatomic and clinical pathology services at CVPH. - Collaborate with a 3-member pathology team to deliver comprehensive patient care. - Option to serve as CLIA Medical Director at Hospital for qualified candidates with laboratory management experience and demonstrated leadership skills. - Foster teamwork and engagement within the pathology team and healthcare environment. Qualifications: - Required: - Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. - Eligible for medical licensure in New York State. - Obtain appropriate New York State Certificate(s) of Qualification as required. - Preferred: - Fellowship training in Surgical Pathology or a subspecialty with board certification. - Previous experience as a pathologist in a community practice setting. - Strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering collaboration.
