The Acute Care Occupational Therapist will report to the director of therapy services with responsibilities that include performing assessment of patients’ current conditions, conducting exams to evaluate physical, mental, and emotional health to identify challenges in performing daily tasks, developing personalized treatment plans focused on improving or compensating for impairments, completing thorough education throughout course of intervention, performing documentation that is in keeping with departmental guidelines, and demonstrating strong communication skills with the interdisciplinary team to ensure best outcomes for patients.
