Details:
- Location: Webster, South Dakota
- Duration: January 2025-Ongoing (long term locum need)
- Schedule: 1-4 weeks per month, flexible
- Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-9am inpatient hospital rounding. Mon-Fri 9am-5pm clinic + call
- Call: required call 1-2 nights per week for Hospitalist call coverage 5pm-8am. ED call as needed weekends (8am-8am, 24 hr.) and varying backup during the week
- Scope: Family Medicine Clinic Mon-Fri (non-negotiable) with daily Hospitalist rounding/call and back-up ED coverage
- Duties: Daily clinic, Hospital rounding 8am-9am + daily clinic. As needed Hospital call and ED coverage as well
- ED call 24hrs 8a-8a on standby back up call (APP takes first call for ED. If physician called they will pause patients in clinic and go address ED patients. The staff at the clinic will address patient while physician goes to ED)
- Ages: All ages, majority 50+
- Volume: 12-16 PPD clinic. Inpatient rounding 1-3 PPD on swing bed every morning 8am-9am. Small rural facility with low patient volumes (census average of 1-2 patients)
- EMR: Epic
- Hospital/Support: Rural 14 bed critical access hospital. 1 MD, 5 APP s, RN s/Triage full support!
- Credentialing: 60-90 days
- Require: BC/BE, DEA, BLS/ACLS, IMLC Compact and Open to licensing
