The Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner at Marshfield Clinic Health System provides medical and educational services to geriatric patients in collaboration with a licensed physician. Marshfield Clinic Health System is seeking an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant is a skilled member of the health team who provides medical and educational services to patients in collaboration with a licensed physician.

This role will be with the internal medicine team and can be a .8 or 1.0FTE. The individual who fills this role will see geriatric patients(65+). There will be weekday and weekend call responsibilities.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required: Master s Degree in Nursing/Physician Assistant.

Preferred/Optional: None

EXPERIENCE

Minimum Required: One to three years APC experience in the specialty.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

Minimum Required: Current State of Wisconsin Nurse License or Nurse Compact License, and Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Licensure. Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire. Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department/location).

Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
