The Internal Medicine Physician at the Valdosta, GA Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic will lead and supervise a dedicated clinical team to provide comprehensive care for adult Veteran patients. This role involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary Patient Aligned Care Team, delivering a range of preventive and patient-centered services. Ideal candidates will have leadership experience in outpatient care and board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, along with various benefits and relocation assistance provided.
The Valdosta, GA Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic is recruiting a Primary Care Chief! Direct and supervise the clinical care activities of the physicians, nurse practitioners, and nurses on our team. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary Patient Aligned Care Team to provide comprehensive, coordinated, continuous care to a very manageable sized adult Veteran patient panel. Primary Care services feature preventive and patient-centered care approaches and offer a wide variety of specialty care services that include Women s Clinic, Laboratory & Vaccinations, Wound Care, Mental Health Care, Nutrition & Weight Management, Pain Psychology, Social Work, Substance Abuse & Tobacco Cessation, and Telehealth Services. Mon-Fri only; no on-call. Leadership experience in an ambulatory care or outpatient care setting is required. Board certification in IM/FM preferred.
