Clinic Schedule: This locum tenens position offers a structured and manageable schedule for work-life balance. Clinic hours are Monday to Friday, providing comprehensive care from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
On-Call Schedule: The on-call schedule is designed for flexibility and shared responsibility, spanning 7-10 days per month. The on-call hours are from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, ensuring comprehensive coverage for patient care. Note that on-call duties are shared with three other providers, fostering collaboration and mutual support.
Job Details:
- Inpatient & Outpatient Care: This position involves a combination of inpatient and outpatient care, encompassing clinic responsibilities and on-call duties.
- Average Total Inpatient Census: Manageable with an average of 3-4 patients, allowing for personalized and attentive care.
- Patient Load: Expect to see 15-18 patients per day, providing a diverse and fulfilling caseload.
- Admissions: Handle 1-2 admissions per day and 2-3 admissions per night, contributing to a well-rounded experience.
- ICU/Critical Care: No duties in the ICU or critical care settings, allowing you to focus on OBGYN specialties.
- Procedures: Perform OB/GYN procedures if called to the ER, including C-sections and vaginal deliveries.
- Certifications: Maintain NRP, BLS, and ACLS certifications to ensure high-quality care.
- Pediatric Hospitalist: Benefit from the availability of a 24/7 pediatric hospitalist, enhancing comprehensive patient care.
Other Information:
- EMR: Utilize EPIC, a state-of-the-art electronic medical records system, streamlining documentation and enhancing collaboration.
