Psychiatry - Child/Adolescent Physician at ProTouch Staffing summary:

A Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist based in San Diego, CA, providing mental health care and treatment to young patients. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating mental health issues, leading a team, and ensuring high-quality care through effective communication and coordination. Must hold a valid medical license in California with specialization in psychiatry and have experience in a psychiatric setting, preferably with children.

Psychiatrist (Physician) - San Diego, CA

Job Type - Full Time

Shifts - Days

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to resolve conflict.

  • Ability to use initiative and judgement to organize, plan activities, formulate policies, delegate responsibility and make

  • decisions affecting diagnosis and treatment of patients.

  • Must be able to relate to people in a manner to win their confidence and establish rapport.

  • Must be flexible to adjust to changing conditions, programs and various details of the position.

  • Verbal and hearing ability required to interact with patients and employees. Numerical ability required to maintain

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must Be licensed in the state of California as an MD or DO with specialization in psychiatry

  • Board-eligible physician. Board certification preferred

  • Graduate of an accredited college or university and medical school.

  • Successful completion of a GME accredited residency and/or fellowship program, if working with children additional residency with this age group must have been obtained.

  • Experience working in a psychiatric hospital or clinic, preferred

  • Be registered with Medicare as a community provider, or able to be registered.

  • Leadership and/ or supervisory experience in a behavioral health organization is preferred.
